Cancellation Policy

Membership Cancellation

White Karate memberships are billed on a recurring basis. A student’s absence from class does not automatically cancel their membership or stop recurring tuition payments.

To cancel a membership, the parent, legal guardian, or adult student must provide notice of cancellation directly to White Karate via email, Facebook Messenger, phone, or in person.

Cancellation Notice

To cancel a membership, the parent, legal guardian, or adult student responsible for the account must provide at least 30 days' advance notice directly to White Karate.

Cancellation will take effect at the end of the applicable billing period following the required 30-day notice period. Recurring tuition payments will continue until the cancellation becomes effective.

Re-Enrollment After Cancellation

Students whose memberships have been cancelled and who later wish to return to White Karate will be required to complete the current enrollment process and pay a $50 re-enrollment fee.

The re-enrollment fee applies whenever a student returns after their membership has been cancelled, regardless of the reason for cancellation or length of time since the previous membership ended.

Returning students will be enrolled at White Karate's current tuition rates and membership terms in effect at the time of re-enrollment. Previous tuition rates, discounts, or grandfathered rates do not automatically carry over after a membership has been cancelled.

White Karate does not offer membership holds or freezes. Students who do not wish to maintain an active membership should follow the cancellation procedure above. Students who later wish to return may do so by completing the re-enrollment process.

Important Information

• Non-attendance is not considered cancellation. Tuition will continue to be charged while a membership remains active, even if a student is not attending classes.

• Cancellation requests must be submitted by the parent/legal guardian or adult student responsible for the account.

• Once a cancellation request is received, recurring billing will be stopped in accordance with the membership’s cancellation terms.

• Refunds will generally not be issued for tuition payments made before White Karate receives a cancellation request, including payments made during periods when the student was not attending classes.

• Students are welcome to return to classes before their cancellation takes effect if their membership remains active.

• Memberships cannot be placed on hold or temporarily suspended.

We encourage families to contact us as soon as possible if they wish to discontinue classes or have questions about their membership or billing.
